Chen Wei-Lien, known in Taiwan as Bed Uncle, entered the mattress industry in 2009 and in 2015 co-founded the Taiwanese mattress brand Cradle of Life with his wife; by 2026 the company had served more than 15,000 orders. He started out in marketing, and since founding the company has worked hands-on across pocket-spring structural design, natural latex and foam sourcing, prototyping, production management and quality inspection. He travels to Thailand to audit natural latex suppliers and handles international procurement and test-report review himself. The F8 and Grace mattresses were tested by SGS Taiwan to CNS 16115-3: 30,000 rolling cycles and 5,000 edge-durability cycles, with no visible damage after testing. He has been interviewed by CTi Entertainment's "Mama You Li" and Unicorn Media's "My Startup, My Unicorn".
